What we are working on

We conducted the kick-off for the design of an emergency workstation based on Open-Xchange for a critical infrastructure operator. The project began with a requirements workshop, where we collaboratively defined the functional and technical framework for email, calendar, and address book services during emergency operations. We structured the lifecycle into four phases: conception, activation, emergency mode, and deactivation and addressed key aspects such as environment provisioning, emergency mode activation, data availability, and the orderly transition back to standard operations. The solution is designed to support up to 60,000 potential workstations. Based on these results, we are now moving forward with the detailed design and architectural planning.

For an environment comprising several organisationally separate tenants, we have begun planning a strategy and architecture for multi-tenant hybrid identity management. The solution will be built on the basis of Microsoft Active Directory and EntraID, and will integrate on-premises and cloud-based identities into a consistent overall concept. The focus is on clear tenant separation and a scalable, future-proof architecture. The aim is to lay the foundations for centralised, secure and uniformly manageable identity management.

We have developed a centralized management solution for large-scale Webex environments that allows hundreds of tenants to be administered from a single interface. Users are automatically synchronized from the local Active Directory into their respective Webex tenants. Administration is fully multi-tenant, ensuring that each tenant can be managed securely and in isolation. The result is a significant simplification of administrative tasks combined with high scalability.

Central inboxes are often the first point of contact—and at the same time, a real time-sink. With our new AI solution, we’re transforming manual message review into an intelligent, assisted process for our clients: A large language model, which the client runs in-house on its own infrastructure, automatically identifies the subject of a message and provides appropriate handling suggestions. The application is designed for up to 280,000 users and provides significant relief on a large scale.
